So today and for the past few days, I have been watching the live coverage of the E3 convention via G4tv and I have to say that I am impressed. To start it off, to all the console fanboys out there, shut up. At this E3, it was Sony who came out on top with it's newly revealed Sony Vita. It is portable gaming device that just looks amazing and is something that I can't wait to buy! In second place was Nintendo, who revealed their new console, the WiiU, which sports a new controller that incorporates a 6.2-inch, 16:9 touch screen and traditional button controls, including two analog Cirle pads. This combination removes the traditional barriers between games, players and the TV by creating a second window into the video game world. The rechargeable controller includes a Power button, Home button, +Control Pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, L/R buttons and ZL/ZR buttons. It includes a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope, rumble feature, camera, a microphone, stereo speakers, a sensor strip and a stylus. It supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i and the console will have internal flash memory, as well as the option to expand its memory using either an SD memory card or an external USB hard disk drive. Nintendo has announced that the new console IS backward compatable and will be able to be used with most previous wii accessories. And last but not least is Microsoft, who brought a new Halo4 game to the table. The trailer for this game can be seen at http://youtu.be/EXvChHXUQjg and looks amazing. The downside to this new addition is that it will not be made by Bungie. Instead, it will be produced by 343 productions and Microsoft.
Well guys, that was a lot, but I just wanted to say what I thought of this year's E3! Be expecting more and more posts! Bye!
